I'm J.R., welcome to my 1st Website, Mycosplaypics.com.
This site is dedicated to show the pictures I have taken, especially those pictures that I have taken at cosplay events.
My Photography is a hobby, not my job. I love to attend cosplay event and to take pictures of things that seem interesting.
Equipment: The camera I am now using is a "Cannon Powershot G3 (digital)", that my father and I originally purchased nearly 25 years ago. This is when digital camera was in its infancy. I sometimes use my phone camera as well, currently I have a Samsung Galaxy S10+. I also have a Cannon AE-1 Programable (film camera), that I originally bought myself in about 1985, but I have never use this for any cosplay photos. In time I would like to update my equipment to something a bit newer.
Here are some of the pictures I look for when I am at event:
Star Trek & Star Wars costumes.
Parent/Child & Families pictures (esp. in costume).
Other unique looking costume (of all sorts.)
Interesting looking people of all genders and ages.
People relaxing (not posing for a picture) & (candid Pics).
Friends & family that I happen to know personally.
A small number of people that I try to get a picture of every year.
Homemade costumes. (both professional looking, and non-professional. )
